It can be applied on water, including flowing water, as well as asphalt, standard ground, and industrial surfaces. Certified for Types I, II, and III-R use, it provides a versatile solution for a wide range of spill control requirements.
SORB XT is a hydrophobic and oleophilic binder that absorbs oils and chemicals while repelling water. With a grain size of 0.125–4.0 mm and a bulk density of approximately 140 g/L, it delivers rapid absorption of up to 8–10 times its own weight. It also achieves certified slip resistance of 95% on asphalt within seconds, helping to improve safety in spill areas.
